NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.  (Titan Athletics)– The Westminster College men’s tennis team won, 8-1, over Pittsburgh at Bradford in their home and season opener on Saturday.
 
Juniors Miguel Ascencio (Venitia, PA / Peters Township), Collin Kelly (McDonald, PA / Canon MacMillan) and Alec Rich (Trafford, PA / Penn Trafford), and freshmen Jimmy Oberlin and George Oliver all picked up singles victories for the Titans. Westminster also swept the Panthers in all three doubles matches.
 
The Titans will return to the court on Saturday, September 28 when they take on Pittsburgh at Greensburg in a non-conference dual match.

6. George Oliver (WES) def. Jacob Schlegel (PB) 6-2, 6-0

Doubles Competition:
