FROSTBURG, Md. (Titan Athletics)– The Westminster College men’s lacrosse team earned a spot in the 2019 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
Westminster (9-7), along with Frostburg State (10-8), Pfeiffer University (8-7), and Neumann University (9-7) make up the field of four teams.
Westminster, in only its fourth year of existence, is coming off a historic Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) playoff run in which it made it to the PAC Championship game in its first ever postseason berth.
The Titans earned the No. 2 seed and will play No. 3 Pfeiffer in the ECAC Semifinals on Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m. at host Frostburg State University.
Semifinals – Saturday, May 11 at Frostburg State University
Game 1: No. 1 Frostburg State University (10-8) vs. No. 4 Neumann University (9-7) – 11 p.m.
Game 2: No. 2 Westminster College (9-7) vs. No. 3 Pfeiffer University (8-7) – 2 p.m.
Championship – Sunday, May 12 at Frostburg State University
Winner Game #1 vs. Winner Game #2 – 1 p.m.
