The Pittsburgh Symphony is ending its partnership with the New Castle Scottish Rites Cathedral. Cathedral Foundation officials shared the news on Friday that the Pittsburgh Symphony has no future to perform at the Scottish Rite Cathedral after the May 5, 2017 concert. This will end 16 years of performances in New Castle.

The Pittsburgh Symphony office cites financial loss in recent years as the reason behind its decision.
