FARRELL, Pa.– Thiel College has a new associate head football coach fresh from a state championship season from Farrell High School.  Jarrett Samuels, a Farrell graduate and a Westminster College alum, resigned from Farrell this week after 11 seasons with the team.

Samuels went public with the news on Twitter when he shared an image of himself wearing a Thiel pullover and shared his letter to the Farrell School District.

“This is a blessing that I must take a leap of faith on and accept,” Samuels wrote his leader to FASD officials.  “It’s been an overwhelming honor to serve my alma mater.”

Samuels coached the Farrell Steelers to the 2018 Class A Football State Championship.  In previous years the team claimed the runner up title and won seven District 10 trophies.
