ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Titan Athletics) – Westminster College junior Kaitlyn Fast (Wooster, OH / Wooster) and sophomore Connor May (Highlands Ranch, CO / Glacier Park) have both qualified for the NCAA Division III Nationals with their diving performances at Regionals over the weekend. Rochester Institute of Technology hosted the two-day event.
 
On Saturday, Fast became the first female diver to qualify for Nationals in school history. She placed 11th in the 1-meter dive with 381.40 points. On Friday, Fast finished fifth in the 3-meter dive with 439.70 points – her best performance at Regionals. 
 
May defended his 3-meter Regional title on Saturday, as he won with a score of 541.20 points. May won the 1-meter dive on Friday. He is the first Titan to win both events at Regionals in school history.
 
Six total Titans qualified for Regionals. Also for the men, freshman Patrick Holton (Livonia, MI / Winston Churchill) placed 12th (443.75), while sophomore Zack Thomas (Snohomish, WA / Snohomish) finished 22nd (345.75). Additionally for the women, first-year Jamie Elia (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) placed 22nd (345.85) and sophomore Zoe Cable (Brookville, PA / Brookville Area) finished 24th (321.50).
 
The NCAA Division III Women’s & Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships are set for Wednesday, March 20 – Saturday, March 23. The Championships will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.
