COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Titan Athletics)- Westminster College junior Kaitlyn Fast (Wooster, OH / Wooster) earned College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American First Team honors for the 2018-19 season, while senior David Peffer (Ellwood City, PA / Riverside) was named Honorable Mention. Additionally, both Titan teams earned a spot on the CSCAA Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2019 semester.
Fast and Peffer both achieved a 3.50 GPA or higher. Fast competed at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, while Peffer achieved a “B” time standard.
Fast is the first Titan (male or female) to earn First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American Honors since Caitlin Lehberger, a two-time CSCAA Scholar All-American and 13-time All-American, achieved it for the 2011-12 season.
The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Titan women boasted a GPA of 3.40, while the Titan men combined for a 3.12 GPA.
