ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP)– Westminster College sophomore Connor May (Highlands Ranch, CO / Glacier Park) won the 1-meter dive at the 2019 NCAA Division III Diving Regionals with 502.60 points on Friday. Rochester Institute of Technology is hosting the two-day event.
May, one of six Titans who qualified for Regionals, automatically qualifies for both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive for Nationals.
Junior Kaitlyn Fast (Wooster, OH / Wooster), making her third-straight trip to Regionals, placed fifth in the 3-meter dive with 439.70 points – her best performance at Regionals.  
Sophomore Zack Thomas (Snohomish, WA / Snohomish), making his second trip to Regionals, placed 17th (397.75), while freshman Patrick Holton (Livonia, MI / Winston Churchill) placed 21st (365.15).
Also making their first trip to Regionals were first-year Jamie Elia (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) (18th/362.75) and sophomore Zoe Cable (Brookville, PA / Brookville Area) (19th/359.45).
The Regionals conclude Saturday, March 2 with the women’s 1-meter dive at 12 p.m. and the men’s 3-meter diving at 3 p.m.
