WOODGATE, NY- The Westminster Tiny House team took a trip to Woodgate, NY. This trip was a long weekend of learning and experiencing more about Tiny Houses from a very well known expert, Bill Rockwill.

Rockwell visited Westminster last year to coach the WC Tiny House team. This time the Tiny House team went to see him and check out the process of building a tiny house.Rockwills shop

While on this trip the team saw different stages of Tiny House building. The stages within Rockwell’s shop range from tiny homes in the framing stage all the way to the finished product. Along with showing the Tiny House team the houses. Rockwill demonstrated how to use the different tools to build these tiny homes.

“Seeing Bill’s shop, getting to know the in’s and out’s of building a tiny home, I think will help me some day, but will also help the college in the long run” said Danny Owoc.

Although the team was there to learn about Tiny Houses, they also explored upper state New York. The weather at the time was cold and snowy. Being up there visiting Rockwill felt like Christmas. Between all the Tiny Houses and snow it couldn’t get anymore like a Holiday. tiny house
