LORI LAUGHLIN PLEADS GUILTY IN COLLEGE ADMISSIONS SCAM

UNDATED (AP) — First she denied it. Then, she claimed prosecutors made up the evidence against her. Now, Lori Loughlin has come clean, pleading guilty to her part in a scam to get her two daughters into USC as part of a nationwide college admissions scandal. The “Full House” star and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty today to paying a million dollars to get their kids into the school as crew team members, though neither was an athlete. The couple appeared on separate screens with their respective attorneys at today’s virtual plea hearing. It is now up to the judge to decide whether to accept the deal.
