  • 0

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The U.S. cycling team headed to the Tokyo Olympics next month could be its strongest in decades. Chloe Dygert has a chance to win multiple medals in the road race, time trial and as a member of the favored women's pursuit squad. Kate Courtney and Haley Batten are joined by Chloe Woodruff on a strong mountain bike squad. Connor Fields will try to defend his gold medal from the Rio de Janeiro Games in the BMX race. And in the new BMX freestyle discipline, the American women and men are both ranked No. 1 in the world, with Hannah Roberts the heavy favorite to win gold.
