NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say home video surveillance captured the murder of a woman found dead in a southeastern Pennsylvania home along with her husband.
Police were dispatched to the Pottstown home after a neighbor called 911 to report the shooting, the Montgomery County prosecutor’s office said Monday. Officers found the bodies of 46-year-old Carla Forde and 42-year-old Edward Thornton. Authorities said a history of domestic violence existed, and home video surveillance showed the couple arguing, the man “brutally beating" the woman, then retrieving a gun from upstairs before shooting her and then himself. Autopsies are planned.
