NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College football team will a bid to play in the Clayton Chapman Bowl to Burry Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 12 p.m. Westminster College will host Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship game for the third time in program history.
The Titans (7-3) face Wesley College (6-4), located in Dover, Delaware, in post-season Division III championship action.

Westminster won both of its ECAC James Lynah Bowl games in back-to-back years. The Titans won, 33-6, over Utica College in 2016 and, 42-21, over St. John Fisher College in 2015.
Saturday’s meeting will be the first-ever between the Wolverines and the Titans. Wesley is part of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). Wesley is 6-4 overall and finished 5-4 in the NJAC.
This is the first time Westminster has hosted a postseason game since 1994 when the Titans played Lambuth University (TN) in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II National Championship Semifinals. Westminster won, 46-6, and went on to win its sixth national title with a 27-7 victory over Pacific Lutheran University (WA).
The Titans finished tied for second in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) with a 7-2 record.
