NEW WILMINGTON, Pa: Nova Destinations is known around the area for it’s self-crafted beverages, friendly customer service, and constant growth. What started as a hobby in owner Walt Novosel’s garage has blossomed into a thriving enterprise.
The most recent addition to the “Nova” destination list, Brew 32, sits atop an already existing business – Nova Wine Cellars. The idea for a brewery formed gradually over time due to certain customers claiming that they aren’t wine drinkers.
“Not everyone likes to drink wine. When you have five people show up in a group, maybe 3 of them like wine. All they have to do is walk upstairs and grab a nice beer.” – Ian Matson (Brew 32 Manager)
Brew 32 joins an elite group of locations under the Novosel name. Also run and owned by the Novosel family are Knockin’ Noggin Hard Cidery and Winery, Liquid Fusions, Fractured Grape Winery, and Nova Cellars Winery. The company also features their products at an outlet store in the Grove City Outlet Mall. After years of wine making, Brew 32 marks the first attempt at craft beer production in the family business.
Aside from the tasty beers, location and interior designing are what make Brew 32 stand out. The interior is themed around sports and famed athletes. Taking it a step further, Brew 32 decided to name all of it’s beers after historic athletes from the 1900’s.
The property sits on 151 acres of land in Pulaski, PA formerly known as Spring Water Acres, a memorable swimming hole, which was run by the Muscarella family for nearly 50 years. This past summer, the Novosel family moved their Nova Cellars location out of their garage and on to the new acreage. Brew 32 followed shortly after – and opened in October.
Since it’s opening, Brew 32 has been thriving and serving some of the area’s best craft brew.
