NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat. Halloween is coming upon us, so go get your candy ready.
It doesn’t matter if you’re the type who has a costume ready in July, or you’re the one who is still procrastinating with only two weeks left.
This is Halloween, and mostly everyone wants to celebrate it by trick-or-treating. This could include decorating your front porch, dressing up in a costume, handing out candy, or going door to door.
In case you need a friendly reminder of when to have your costume done by, New Wilmington’s Trick-or-Treat will take place on October 27th.
Which is the Saturday before Halloween, as New Wilmington traditionally does, unless Halloween falls on a Saturday. Costumed characters can go door to door from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
And the Kiwanis Halloween Parade on Market Street, is also Saturday, October 27th, with line up beginning at 5 p.m., and the actual parade beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The parade is an annual event sponsored by the New Wilmington Kiwanis Club with the support of local businesses.
Hope for some of that beautiful fall weather.
