At the helm of ‘The Ago’: Grad honored for yearbook advising

NEW WILMINGTON, PA – Shoutout to 2011 grad Kate (Altman) Ratvasky (Broadcast Communications) for her great work advising the yearbook at WC!

Kate, technical services specialist for Library Information ServicesCollege, has been recognized by the College Media Association (CMA) for her work as the adviser to The Argo.

Ratvasky received the 2018 Adviser Award in the category of “Honor Roll Four-Year Yearbook Adviser.” She has served as the yearbook’s adviser since 2014. She resides in Pulaski.

Every year, the CMA—the nation’s largest organization serving collegiate media advisers—recognizes advisers for their hard work. Ratvasky and other award recipients will be honored at a ceremony during the 2018 Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association Fall National College Media Convention in Louisville, Ky., in October.
