BEA@Westminster tours Pittsburgh movie studio

Members of the new student club BEA@Westminster College toured the 31st Street Studios in Pittsburgh where Westminster broadcast communications alumna Alyssa Hanna Falarski ’12 is production manager.  They toured the studios where Tom Hanks recently shot scenes for “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.”

The Westminster College student chapter of Broadcast Education Association (BEA) supports networking and interests in film, television, media, advertising, broadcasting and more. The club provides enrichment opportunities and aims to expand student experiences in the areas of mass communications, broadcasting, sports communications, journalism, digital film and documentaries, media production, social media, and the practices of media and digital marketing.
