I wanted to offer a hearty congratulations to the students who wrapped up their experience in the capstone courses for Broadcasting and Media Production.  The documentary adventure yeiled some confident, credible, and some incredible productions.

Brad Kolesar and Troy Jackson (self-designed major: Film Studies & Media Production) graduated early.

Emiley Westfall, Charlge Borges, and Justin Wilson will finish the remainder of their cousework in the spring.  All will walk across Senior Terrace in front of Old Main in May.

I am sincerely proud of them.  I would hire any one of them in a heartbeat.

I have an additional shoutout to Brad and Emiley as they have also been recognized as top D3 student athletes at Westminster.  They’re both on the Presidents’ Athetlic Conference Honor Roll. Emiley is a member of the Titan softball squad and Brad is on Westmisnter’s men’s swimming and diving team.

Our capstone courses run from one academic year into the next.

Students begin with BC 601 in the spring of their junior year.  They take BC 602 in the fall of their senior.  The two classes generate a combined 8 credit hours for their undergraduate degree.
