Night of the Living Dead

EVANS CITY, Pa.– When the dead arose from the grave in 1968 from a small Pennsylvania town, they took a bite out of American movie culture to become a horror cult classic.

Ever since George Romero’s film “Night of the Living Dead,” zombies have clawed their way into American pop culture. The original film has been the inspiration for many of our favorite movies and TV.

However, it all started with small town in Western Pennsylvania. Evans City, the shooting location of “Night of the Living Dead.”  And the movie has changed from “the City of Black Gold” into the epicenter of the new zombie sub-culture.
