PITTSBURGH (AP) — Weather authorities are warning of dangerously cold temperatures moving into Pennsylvania following a storm that brought as much as a foot of snow to parts of the commonwealth. The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill warning beginning this evening for many areas and transportation officials are warning of icy conditions on roadways.

Forecasters say frigid temperatures with strong winds up into 35 mph or higher in some areas could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very slippery road conditions are expected and widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
