GRANVILLE, Pa. – The Westminster College women’s soccer team lost, 5-0, at Denison University in its non-conference finale Wednesday evening.

The Titans dropped to 5-4-0 overall, while the Big Red improved to 4-3-2.

Denison, who was receiving regional votes, scored four goals in the first half and one in the second. Meg Wozniak and Maggie Armstrong netted two goals each, while Grace Murray added one.

Titan senior goalkeeper Laura Page (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park) tied a career-high with a season-high 11 saves in 90 minutes of work.

Junior Keely Birsic (North Ridgeville, OH / Elyria Catholic), sophomore Kayla Trozzi (Monroeville, PA / Gateway), and Natalie Schwarz (Hudson, OH / Hudson) each earned a shot on goal for Westminster.

Westminster will next play at Chatham University for its Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) opener on Friday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m.
