READING, Pa. – The Westminster College women’s soccer team fell to Albright College, 1-0, in overtime on the road in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon.
 
Westminster ended the season with a 16-6-1 overall record, while Albright improved to 13-4-2 overall.
 
The Titans edged the Lions in shots, 4-2, in the first half while the Lions out shot the Titans, 8-2, in the second half. Both Westminster and the Lions were held scoreless after 90 minutes of play. Just one minute and 40 seconds into overtime (91:40), Albright’s Erica Bross took a corner kick from Autumn Bieber and headed it into the back of the net, winning the game for the Lions (1-0).
 
Junior Kayla Trozzi (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) finished with four shots and two shots on goal. Senior Keely Birsic (North Ridgeville, OH / Elyria Catholic) and first-year Ashley Frank (Mentor, OH / Mentor) each totaled one shot. First-year Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) recorded six saves in a complete-game effort.
